St. Petersburg division of Russian academy of cosmonautics named after K.E. Tsiolkovsky (RAKTs) is created attached to FSUE KB Arsenal by initiative of the presidium of RAKTs on December 12, 2000, with the purpose to widen activities of the academy in the North-West region of Russian Federation.
St. Petersburg division of RAKTs’ activity is targeted to accomplishment of a wide range of tasks for the interests of Russia using achievements of native cosmonautics.
Non-Profit-Making Partnership North European Space Consortium (NPMP NESC) was founded on June, 2002, under the leadership of FSUE "KB "Arsenal", under support of the Committee for economic development, industrial politics and trade of St. Petersburg Administration on the base of the leading aerospace enterprises of the city.
The main purpose of creation of the Partnership was to develop economic and scientific-technical cooperation between the North-West region of Russia and North European countries and joining their efforts to realize complicated scientific-technical projects.
The Interuniversity Scientific-Practical Innovational Center (hereinafter – the Center) was founded and registered by Government of St. Petersburg on September, 2004 by initiative of FSUE "KB "Arsenal". The Center was co-founded by BGTU Ustinov VOENMEKh and OAO MZ Arsenal.
The key activity of the Center is creation of integrated system of mission preparation of personnel for industrial enterprises, organizations and scientific institutions for priority fields of science, engineering and technology.
